In the field of commercial greatness one fast food chain has released a series of commercials that is destined for the top.  Sonic Drive-Ins released two series of commercials that tap into the mock reality TV genre.  Improv actors T.J Jagodowski and  Peter Grosz are known to most Americans as, “The two guys from the sonic commercials.”  While the commercials are funny I prefer the commercials staring Molly Erdman and Brian Huskey another improv duo that play a married couple that often often frequents Sonic. 

The reason I personally find these commercials so amusing is that I have been married almost six months and am just entering into an entirely new area of everyday comedy.  Maybe it is that I can associate with Brian Huskey’s character when I stick my foot in my mouth, maybe it is knowing my wife is smarter but trying to explain my way out of things anyway.  For whatever reason when I turn on my television and see a Sonic commercial I am reminded that a good laugh an perhaps a Sonic shake, blast, or slush can make any day just a little better.
