So being the newly married guy out of us four I have to be the sappy, “I’m in love,” ‘my heart beats for her’ type of guy. And for this week I want us to remember the greatest of times. I was speaking with a close friend a while back about marriage and the sacredness of it and it got me thinking about my marriage and the pathway that lays ahead.

I have done only two weddings in my career of being a minister and there is one tradition I have held to in those and hope to continue to do in the future. Before each wedding, I met with both couples and told them to bring me their favorite picture of them together. The time that they were most in love and joyous because of it. Then as a wedding gift, I have the picture nicely framed and engraved saying, “Always remember the love you both continually grow in.”

Mainly, when times get rough remember when they were better, when you weren’t acting purely on emotions and your head fogged by doubt. Remember how you got to this point! So for this week, that is what we shall do.

What is one thing that your wife (or husband for those that like to respond) does, says, acts like, etc. that always makes you fall in love with her all over? The one thing that you live for from day to day.
