So, over the past month or so, I have really begun to understand what “stress” is. Before this point, my stress typically involved working on papers and things at all hours of the night in order to meet an eight a.m. deadline, worrying about my bank total after a spontaneous weekend getaway, or college-boy antics that could have landed me with Texas Tech PD several times. Now, I’m feeling the pinch of having a baby, moving, changing jobs, raising support, etc. This past weekend was pretty much the icing on this crummy cake. I was expecting a relaxing final retreat with my kiddos to the Sangre de Cristo mountains of New Mexico, walking the Plaze in Santa Fe, and just getting some time to enjoy the cool mid-April air of Glorieta. What I got was anything but. So, the question of the week is this: When have you been most stressed in life? How did you get through it? What event did you expect to be great and relaxing, but ended up being the opposite?
